Not just in regard to its rotating cast, outlandish storylines, and wild historical settings, but also as a leader in LGBTQ representation on primetime television. I apologize for that awful pun. Adapting all-age superhero comic books for television is one thing, but adapting a distinctly adult comic for mass audiences is something else entirely.
